New (to us) Truck

We have a new pickup truck!  Well, since it's a 1996 Dodge Dakota, it's not that new, but it's a good truck.  It belonged to John, and here's the rest of the story.  John had a person lined up to buy his truck before he moved, but at the last minute the sale fell through.  Dad decided to buy the truck, saving the day.  He drove it all the way home from Pennsylvania, only stopping 2 or 3 times, while I drove my car.  I think he really likes the truck.  I fondly called it 'Mater' (from the movie Cars) because it had a rust spot on the top which made it easy for me to find in my rear view mirror.  It's a really good little truck, and we are lucky to have it.
